context of the BetaBit StatPunk universe (WaszKrak, 2047). The
package provides simulated datasets based on the fictional
LifeCalc algorithmic scoring system, illustrating concepts such
as simple regression, ANOVA, ANCOVA, hierarchical models,
multicollinearity, model selection (AIC, BIC), and
regularisation (LASSO, Ridge). Each dataset is accompanied by a
narrative context connecting statistical methodology to
questions of algorithmic fairness and social consequence.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/betaandbit/actions/runs/37617060808</link><pubDate>Sat, 18 Jul 2026 17:52:43 GMT</pubDate><r:package>RougeLM</r:package><r:version>1.0.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://betaandbit.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/betaandbit/roguelm</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>intro.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>intro.html</r:filename><r:title>The Story: Equations from District 7</r:title><r:created>2026-04-06 15:20:59</r:created><r:modified>2026-04-06 15:20:59</r:modified></r:article></item><item><title>[pbiecek] BetaBit 2.2</title><author>przemyslaw.biecek@gmail.com (Przemyslaw Biecek)</author><description>Three games: proton, frequon and regression. Each one is a
console-based data-crunching game for younger and older data
scientists. Act as a data-hacker and find Slawomir Pietraszko's
credentials to the Proton server. In proton you have to solve
four data-based puzzles to find the login and password. There
are many ways to solve these puzzles. You may use loops, data
filtering, ordering, aggregation or other tools. Only basics
knowledge of R is required to play the game, yet the more
functions you know, the more approaches you can try. In frequon
you will help to perform statistical cryptanalytic attack on a
corpus of ciphered messages. This time seven sub-tasks are
pushing the bar much higher. Do you accept the challenge? In
regression you will test your modeling skills in a series of
eight sub-tasks. Try only if ANOVA is your close friend. It's a
part of Beta and Bit project. You will find more about the Beta
and Bit project at &lt;https://github.com/BetaAndBit/Charts&gt;.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/pbiecek/actions/runs/34944018853</link><pubDate>Thu, 24 Aug 2023 23:30:25 GMT</pubDate><r:package>BetaBit</r:package><r:version>2.2</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://pbiecek.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/cran/BetaBit</r:upstream></item></channel></rss>
